Now that you've joined Drift sit back and we'll take it from here.
Here's the timeline you can expect:
- Days 1: We're processing your information and requesting your past usage from your old utility in order to forecast your power needs.
- Days 2-5: We'll notify you of your official Drift start date. That's the date the local utility says they're going to come read your meter.
- After your start date: You'll receive your first Drift statement, via email. After this date, you no longer pay directly to your local utility. Your utility company will continue to check your meter and manage the poles and wires. The cost for their services ("delivery") gets paid to them through your Drift account.
